Brands
A brand is a legal entity that’s responsible for the messaging content in a campaign. Brands rely on a CSP to submit campaigns to TCR and to share those campaigns with other entities until they reach an MNO and, ultimately, a recipient.
When first registered by a CSP, a brand undergoes an identity verification process that ensures they are a legitimate entity who qualifies for messaging use cases and delivery terms with MNOs. In some cases, a brand may need to undergo additional verification procedures before campaigns can be created for it (e.g., PUBLIC_PROFIT
and SOLE_PROPRIETOR
entities).
